Oh, I forgot to tell you a bit about myself :-) Well, my passions are dolls, crafting, the Victorian, Rococo, and Baroque eras, tea, the forest/nature, and the philosophy of kawaii.. which is what lead me here, actually! I was wondering if there were any people actively creating and transforming the world around us through kawaii.. I'm still very new to all of this, I suppose.. but in a way, I feel as though this is a place I belong.. in.. in heart, I feel! :-) Best wishes and dreams made reality to all, this new year!!

We use Japanese honorifics here. That includes -san, -chan, -sensei, -sempai, -sama and others. For those who have chosen to be honorary Precure, Cure works as a title instead (So I could be Ocha-san or Cure Ocha). You can pretty much never go wrong with -san, so you might stick to that until you're more comfortable.
Among us we have girls who knit, crochet, make soap and oil blends, and bake, with ambitions towards sewing. We are all working at our own paces to improve our personal appearances to make the world more kawaii that way as well. I am in college right now and actually was very brave and wrote a paper on how the idea of magokoro, or the pure and sincere heart required in Shinto is all tied up in the aesthetic of kawaii. I don't know the scholarship was so great but it really took lots of nerve to speak up on the topic and I *am* proud of that.
Such joy to meet a kindred spirit!

Thank you so much for telling us a little about yourself, Bibi-san. I am so glad that you came to join us, and I hope you do find a home with us. Kawaii is VERY important, I think!
If I may ask, what crafting do you do? I knit and crochet, and I have ambitions (so far unrealized ambitions) of learning to sew!
It can be a little nervous making, trying to remember the proper forms of address, but as Ocha-san said, if you are unsure, -san is generally safe.
Welcome! Welcome!
(Oh yes....Cure Ocha, how interesting and exciting about your paper! Well done, and that was SO brave of you!)

Cure Ocha....how exciting about your paper! The subject matter seems really interesting, and that was very courageous of you to write that for your class!
I am sure that it would would be very much appreciated if you would be kind enough to tell of the things that you learned! I, for one, am extremely interested!

Hajimemashite, Bibi-san!
How lovely to meet you. What interesting interests you have. I wonder if there is anyone among us who does NOT like tea. Which kinds do you especially like?
I don't know if I transform the world around me. I always try to dress kawaii and I think with all the peeples looking - well - rather not-kawaii, I am doing my teensy bit for the aesthetic environment.

Ocha-san, thank you very much for the advice! I shall have to investigate furthur to understand the appropriate use of the other honorifics.. (o^_^o) Wow!! I'm glad to be among such talented and dedicated ladies! Hmm, I am unfamiliar with Shinto/concepts, but that does sound fascinating as well as admirable that you gathered the courage to speak on such an inspirational and important topic! A pleasure to meet you, Cure Ocha!

(Oh yes....Cure Ocha, how interesting and exciting about your paper! Well done, and that was SO brave of you!) Greetings, Yasashiku-san! I am also very glad to join you all, I do believe that kawaii is VERY important!! I feel that it can be difficult to.. let the kawaii shine at times because it is so very "dark" in this world, with many influences trying to convince you that you are "wrong" or "weird".. a form of ostracization.. Anyway, I am glad to have found refuge and kindred spirits here!! I think that having a living community is an essential part to keeping kawaii and similar concepts alive in this world! ..In our own ways, no matter the pace or the gesture, by right action and thought, we bring the light into the world! Hehe, I tend to ge tvery excited about this topic, please pardon me if I have gone off on a rant! Oh, yes, I hope you feel free to ask me anything! Well, I do some hand sewing but I hope to learn how to use a sewing machine.. plus, make patterns! I mostly make modest headdresses and accessories for now.. I aspire to create all my own clothing some day because it is so difficult to find proper, inexpensive articles of clothing nowadays! I also wish to learn how to crochet and kit!! What a lovely skill! Besides sewing crafts, I tend to embark on random crafting eneavors.. whenever I see somthing inspiring, I try to recreate it. :-) Thank you for your advice as well, Cure Yasashiku, it is a pleasure to meet you.

I don't know if I transform the world around me. I always try to dress kawaii and I think with all the peeples looking - well - rather not-kawaii, I am doing my teensy bit for the aesthetic environment. Greetings, Dolly-san! Thank you, I have many other interests but those are what I find most inspiration in, I believe. Oh, I really do loe tea.. it is hard to pick a favourite! Hmmm.. Well among my favourites are Jasmine green tea, Darjeeling, and a partical Earl Grey blend made by Tiesta Tea called: Victorian Earl Grey, which includes dried rose petals and lavendar! Really, such an aromatic and delicious combination! Do you have any of your own favourites? ..perhaps a tea tasting/review thread is in order?? Haha! Cure Dolly, I think that is a beautiful and noble thing to do.. even to improve the aesthetic environment with the power of kawaii.. is so inspirational!! It is a pleasure to meet you, Cure Dolly.
