I am still playing DQIX, and there is a monster I do not like AT ALL! Blastoads! They are yucky. They lick you and give you goosebumps, and you lose a turn or two because you are shivering with revulsion! Yuk!
There is another monster that is fun though...Sluggernauts. The sometimes do a dance, and you lose a turn or two because you dance along with them. That is silly!
Do any of you have favorite or least favorite light game monsters?

Urgh...nothing with poison or freezing, thank you. Nothing's worse than losing a turn or watching your health meter go down when nothing's even hitting you. I don't know if it's *precisely* a monster, but I like the bacon-loving dog in Sushi Cat, who takes Sushi Cat's beloved nuigurumi wife. So cute!

Oh! The goblins from old (pre-MMORPG) Warcraft! You'd click on them and they'd say funny things.

What about all the collectible "mon" games where any enemy you might fight may later be your best ally? It can't get better than that, can it? Right now I've been playing Min Hero (which plays like an homage to Pokemon and Final Fantasy but is free and browser based and not massively multiplayer), and there is a frowny sealcub-thing with just a devastating soak attack.
