Several of the Senshi started this list AGES ago, heee. I thought it might be fun to carry this list over here, so we can add to it as we learn more lessons.
1. Never go off by yourself. That is always when mischief happens.
2. Your friends are your greatest strength.
3. It is when everything seems hopeless, and certain defeat is imminent that a new Precure or Power emerges to save the day.
4. One must always confront her own weaknesses before she can effectively fight the FoD’s.
5. Sometimes those that seem the weakest are the ones who are the most important team members.
6. Even stumbling along, not having a clue what she is doing, a Maid can magically be in the right place at the right time to do what needs to be done.
7. A Precure must always keep working to improve herself. The Enemy gets stronger and stronger!
8. EVERYONE is needed! The strongest Enemies can not be defeated if even one Precure is missing!
9. If a test or challenge faces you off with your self (or your False Self) as an opponent, the solution is rarely physical confrontation. Often what is required is much more complex and rarely involves mere fighting!
10. A kind, loving, and honest heart is the best weapon (and shield) in the face of the FoD’s.
11. Clothing and aesthetics have profound ritual significance. The right dress, hair and makeup can really help a girl transform into a higher version of herself. (Whenever I get ready to go out in Telluria now, I always think of it as donning my battle regalia!)
12. Personae and Functions are real and important things: Cure Happy is not the same person as Miyuki-san, and is never referred to as such.
13. And most importantly; good will always wins over evil, as will beauty over ugliness, and love over hatred!
14. One should NEVER take your faithful fairy helper for granted. Fairies are quite sensitive, and their feelings get hurt quite easily. They love their Precures VERY much, but they need love in return. A fairy is the best and most loyal companion a Precure can have!
15. Your powers and special abilities are for use in fighting the FoD’s. They should never be used frivolously or for one’s own personal gain (with the caveat that Candy-chan is allowed free discretion with use of Cure Decor, particularly, when it comes to accessorizing and nourishment)
16. The powers of the Precures can be combined to create a power much, much stronger than the sum of the individual powers. There are enemies that can only be defeated through the power gained by combining forces.
17. The true battle with the FoD’s is that which is within each of our souls as we struggle with our False Selvf. Or in the words of our Scripture from the Secret of the World: ”Change that within you and the world without will change. But seek to change the world, and all of essence will remain the same. And this is the secret of the world that the world would hide from you; that all things lie within the souls of maids, and that only High Dea is without.”
